Love of God

Rests assure that there is nothing that can between you and God.

Unlike our worldly friendships and relationships, our connection with God cannot be torn apart by anyone or anything. Our relationships on earth cannot even compare to the one we have with God.

Of course there may be times when you feel less connected, but that is only one-sided. When we feel like we have been disconnected from Christ it is only our emotions and thoughts that have created that. In reality God never leaves us nor does he punish us by breaking off our relationship with Him.

Romans 8:38-39

New International Version (NIV)

^“38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, ³⁹ neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:38 and 39 tells us that there is nothing, not even death that can separate us from the Lord. This is probably one of the most reassuring scriptures one could hold on to. We can go through life and have people come in out of our lives and even feel like those around you don’t really understand you or love you…just know that God has promised to you that NOTHING can keep you away from His love.

Our Heavenly father does not want us to have any other relationship placed above ours with Him. I believe we owe it to Him to be just as faithful to Him as He is to us. He never forgets to wake us up in the morning, He never forgets to allow oxygen flow through our bodies and most importantly, He never forces us into making any decisions because He gave us free will.

 You would be amazed at how much love coincides with those times when we are most happiest...and that's just with the love we feel from others...

Can you imagine just how much God loves you?! Multiply the love you've felt by someone by infinity...that equals the love of God.
