Hold On!

Do not be discouraged when those things that you have prayed for or declared-have not yet manifested. All those things that you are waiting on to manifest WILL come to pass as long as you stand on His word. Do not speak against your prayers and declarations, don’t pray for financial break through and then turn around and say to someone “I’m always broke” or “I can’t afford anything”.

Speaking from experience, it takes time for certain things to manifest. The “larger” desires, such as money in thousands usually take longer than those desires for a couple hundred dollars. Those “larger” desires for a spouse will usually take longer than those desires for a date for Friday night.

As long as we have our desires in perspective we will have a much easier time waiting because now we have an idea of how long it may take for certain things to manifest.

Of course there’s no formula that will give you when exactly God will physically manifest those tangible desires, however because we are human and have to have an idea/hope to hold on to, we need to ease our minds by knowing that certain desires are going to take a while. It will manifest! Don’t think because you know it will take longer than a small desire, that you can just do or say whatever in the meantime. We have to stay standing on His word and watching our own words, no matter how long it takes to manifest, when you finally reach the other side and have your desire in your hands, all that waiting makes the receiving that much more sweeter!

Vision Board part2

After you have collected several pictures for your vision board it’s time to get a poster board. Lay out all your pictures on the board to figure out how you want to place each picture, allowing for room for writing next to or under any pictures that need more information.

The poster board will allow you to see your images all together and be able to post the board somewhere in your room/closet/office so you can always see it. If you want your vision pictures to be kept private and don’t have the room for the large board, make it into a book. Paste your pictures on regular 8.5 x 11 in paper and insert them into sheet protectors and/or just insert them into a project folder or binder.

Don’t forget to write next any images that don’t look exactly what you have envisioned or may need more clarification. Remember God is a detailed God.

This board/book is a way for you to be reminded of what you want in life. Some things may change so you can replace items on the board, or you can make note of those things that you have received or accomplished. Seeing those things on your board is a visual reminder that there are goals that you have to achieve.

This isn’t for things that ONLY you have do but with faith in God, these things will be added to you. Some things are just going to come to you because God knows that you are standing on your faith and ability to gain specific things.

Pray over your board or book to make your request known.

“Lord I am coming before you with my vision board (or book) of what I desire. I know that you are faithful to bless me with those things that I desire. You will give me favor with people I need to achieve my goals. I am asking you for these things on my board (or book) as you said in Matthew 21:22, if I ask, believe and I will receive them.Thank you Lord for your word and I believe that I receive these things, in Jesus name, Amen.”

Vision Board

Every person should have an idea of how they want their future to look. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to know exactly what you want your future to look like, however it is important to have an idea and then as time goes on-expand on it.

Grab a shoe box or plastic baggie and use it to gather images that depict or come close to what you want. If the picture you selected doesn’t have all the correct elements, such as color, location, etc... make sure to write down on your notes all the correct (detailed) information for what the picture is supposed to depict.

To get started, write down some things you want to achieve and things, as in material things that you want to own. You don’t have to start out with anything profound or major achievements, start out with material things that you desire. Obviously those material things can’t be items that would cause harm to yourself and others, for example drugs, weapons and so on. If there’s a new phone you’ve been wanting for a while and you want it because it has some features you’ve been needing or want to be able to use-find a picture of it whether it be in a magazine or online, cut or print it out and it to your show box or baggie so you can come back to it when you’re ready to post it on your board.
